Tenant Purchase
Tenant Associations and Cooperatives:
This program provides free, specialized services for tenant groups pursuing the purchase of their buildings as cooperatives or condominiums. Development services include: assistance with organizing and structuring a tenant association, preparation of legal organizational documents, and assistance with identifying project team members and loan sources.
The D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development has established guidelines for tenant participation that are based on income limits that are adjusted periodically. .
