Advocate for and Educate the Community on the Right to School Inclusion and Transitional Services

Disability Rights DC (DRDC) conducts outreach to promote and advocates for the right of children with disabilities to be educated and participate in the general education classroom. We also promote and advocate for quality inclusive secondary transition services and linkage to community services and supports from adult-serving DC agencies and community providers under these programs: Mental Health, Developmental Disability, and Traumatic Brain Injury (see below).
